CONGRATULATIONS
MARCH
2004

Need some gas? Go find Matt Frasor, CFA's newest private pilot, who is also the assistant manager of the local AM/PM Minimart. Matt has completed his training in record time getting about as close to the FAA minimums as anyone does. When he is not flying or managing the local AM/PM, Matt enjoys playing the piano, a little golf and flag football where he plays defensive line or right guard for a Christian League. Matt intends to go all the way to ATP and expects to find himself in the left seat of something really big someday.
For all you single ladies out there Matt wants you to know that he is a romantic who enjoys long walks on the beach. And with his flying skills, there are many beaches to choose from!

Meet Brandon Beakley, CFA's private pilot extraordinaire! When Brandon isn't tearing up the skies in a Cessna 152, he is either operating a radar aboard the USS Nimitz or going to Embry Riddle full-time where he is pursuing a degree in Aeronautical Science. Whew! And to top it off, in his spare time, Brandon is a beach bum and is always looking for that next perfect wave. Brandon intends to pursue his instrument rating and go on to his ATP. One thing though Brandon , watch out for Great Whites OK?

Finally!
After multiple weather related delays, Bert Liang joins the ranks
of CFA’s pilot’s extraordinaire!
Bert and his identical twin brother, Brian, hail from Wilmington
DE. Having graduated from Northwestern University in 1998, Bert,
an oncologist, managed to find his way to California where he is
employed by Biogen IDEC and is involved with state of the art cancer
research.
According
to Bert’s twin brother Brian (who by the way happens
to be the happy owner of a T-Lance) and Brian’s wife Shannon, “Bert
has two perfect children, Christopher and Kate, both of whom have
flown, and a lovely wife Diane. When he isn’t flying, collecting
Mercedes Benz’, or curing cancer, he plays hockey and golf
with his children, some lucky kids huh? Congratulations to Bert
who intends to pursue his instrument rating.
