Flight instructors
CFA has immediate openings for flight instructors. Preference will be given to instructors holding at least a CFII and with some dual given experience. Please forward your resume to lmooney@flycfa.com
Aircraft Dispatch
The aircraft dispatcher is responsible for monitoring aircraft and student activity. They ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, check maintenance logs to ensure airplanes are not being dispatched if they have required maintenance, check student account balances, answer phones and direct traffic in the lobby of a busy flight school.
Mechanics assistants
As the name implies, assist the CFA maintenance department in all aspects of airplane maintenance. Flexible hours and on the job training are benefits of this position. Sorry but a work permit is required so foreign students on an M-1 VISA are not eligible.
Line Person
A summer position is available for the right individual to work with aircraft dispatch and the maintenance department to keep the CFA fleet flying smoothly through the busy summer flying season. Tasks will include fueling aircraft, checking oil, checking tires and lights, cleaning aircraft and generally making sure the airplanes are ready for the next flight.
Janitor – Part-time (El Cajon)
Date: April 11, 2008
Part-time person to clean and maintain Flight Schools’ floors, restroom, break room, storage areas, classrooms, offices, and outdoor area in the back of the school during the evenings.
Duties include:
- Sweeping & mopping floors
- Cleaning spills
- Dusting and organizing
- Emptying garbage daily
- Cleaning and maintaining outdoor area in back of the school
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management
- Vacuuming
- Cleaning walls, doors, windows, and blinds
Work schedule is 3 evenings per week:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Times: 5 – 8:30
