Housing:
Many of our foreign or Airline Transport Program students require housing while training with us. California Flight Academy maintains a relationship with a large apartment complex near the airport that offers our students rentals of shared two bedroom apartments for the duration of their stay here. California Flight Academy supplies bedding, dishes, and the apartments come completely furnished. There is telephone, internet, and cable television in the apartment as well. You can make new friends, and study by the pool.
We also have host families available for international students with private bedrooms. It will be more memorable experience than living on your own. You will feel what it is like to part of the American culture.
We can even provide pick-up from the San Diego International airport when you first arrive, as long as it is during our normal business hours.
Announcement:
Dear Friends and Families of California Flight Academy,
California Flight Academy is desiring to have some of our foreign students housed in with American Families to help them with their English. They will pay for room and board. Some stay for as little as 2 weeks and some for just over a year - you can decide what kind of commitment you are willing to make. Our students have been screened for security purposes, you can interview them to see if you think you would be a good match. Some students will have cars, but most will not. So they will need to either be near the school or buses/trolley. If your family or your friends, relatives, acquaintances know of anyone wanting a foreign exchange student in their home.
