Kent Parrish
Managing Member / Chief Pilot

Kent Parrish graduated from the University of San Diego with a Business and Psychology degree. He previously owned a banner towing business and a flight school doing Citation Type Ratings. His love for aviation came from his father who is a retired TWA pilot. His passion for flying is derived from his felling that” There is nothing like the freedom of being in the sky and going where you want to go on your own schedule.”
Kent’s hobbies are fitness, skiing, diving, backpacking, wine collecting and travel.

Shigeki Morita has been flying with CFA for many years. He is a dedicated pilot who loves his job and works hard to make sure our students understand all aspects of flying. He enjoys working with both International and Domestic students,  furthering the safety of our school and our skies.

Ashraf Dakwar
Chief Pilot

Ashraf Dakwar was Born and raised in Haifa, Israel and he has wanted to be a pilot for as long as he can remember. He started taking flying lessons back in 1996 and became a certified flight instructor in 2004 for single/multi engine land and instrument airplanes. His teaching motto is: "If you are responsible and safe, this career is for you."

 

Alex Garcia
Instructor

Alexander Garcia has wanted to be a professional pilot for as long as he can remember. He began flying at age 13.  Alex is truly dedicated to his job and feels honored to be able to teach the next generation of pilots what they will need to know for this wonderful field of aviation.  He is attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and working on a B.S. degree in Aeronautical Science.  He plans to eventually retire as an FAA designated pilot examiner, and believes that safety is the goal of every flight.  Besides aviation, Alex loves dirt bikes/motocross, running, and outdoor activities.

Instructor

A.J. has been passionate about flying since he was a child. He has been flying for 11 years and has worked in the aviation field since 2005. Aside from sharing his love of flying with new pilots, his other interests are diving, hiking, and spending time with his family.

Ryan Johnson
Instructor 

 

Ryan is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a B.S. in Aeronautical Science and a minor in Applied Meteorology, and Aviation Safety. He has extensive flight experience including multiple long distance cross country flights across America.  He has been flying since 2003 and has a true passion for seeing his students succeed. On his days off he enjoys the outdoors by going camping, and surfing.

Diana Cook

Diana has recently returned to San Diego after living in the UK for many years where she ran her own Café Bar & Restaurant.  After selling her business she studied for her accountancy degree and has worked for various companies in both London and Liverpool.   She is happy to back home in sunnier climates and in her spare time loves to walk, read, site see and spend time with friends and family.

Heather Hughes

Heather works in our admissions department and studied aeronautical science at Mt. San Antonio College. Her aviation background is in air traffic control. Heather enjoys working with our students from all parts of the world. Her hobbies include photography, hiking and traveling.
