Have you ever dreamed
of being the Captain aboard a commercial jetliner? Our
Airline Pilot Program is designed to take students without any flight

must. The Airline Pilot
Program is divided into a series of integrated, progressive courses
of training designed to build on your increasing knowledge and
experience. Our aim is to help you become the best you can be
by give you the tools and experience you need achieve your goal.
Our program is aggressive. Students
can expect to train 5-6 days per week, approximately 8 hours per
day. A typical work day will comprise of 3 hours of ground, 1
or more hours of in-flight training, training videos, computer
training and study sessions. It requires students who are dedicated
and willing to work hard, but it's a lot of fun too!
The ground and flight training syllabus
include regular checks and written tests to constantly monitor
and evaluate a students progress thereby ensuring that the course

rental and use of our extensive video tape library and books.

The times listed below for completion
of each course are the FAA mandated minimums needed to complete
each stage. Most students cannot complete the courses within those
minimums.
Generally speaking, the average
student can complete each stage in about 1.25 to 1.5 times the
minimum.
California Flight Academy has found
that students who fly every day take less time to become proficient
than those flying only once or twice a week. Additionally, The
harder a student works, the less time it takes and consequently,
the less money it costs. Keep in mind that our goal is to help
you become a safe, proficient pilot with the skills and experience
to become the best they can be, not to pass as many students in
as short of time as possible.
The average duration for the entire
Professional Pilot Program is approximately six (6) months. |

STAGES |
| The Airline Pilot program
consists of a number of stages which, as a alternative to the full
program, can be purchased separately. The following describes each
stage and the costs associated with completing that stage.
Occasionally, students come to us
with the first one or two stages already completed at another
school. If this is your situation, please call us so that we can
realistically evaluate your previous training and tailor the program
to your needs. |
