STUDENT SERVICES

California Flight Academy can provide our students with a wide variety of support services that help make your learning experience fun, comfortable and rewarding. Our students are our family and we will make every effort to ensure the time you spend with us is productive and meaningful.

The following describes some of the service we can provide. For further details, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Student Housing

Many of our foreign or Airline Transport Program students require housing and transportation while training with us. California Flight Academy maintains a relationship with a large apartment complex near the airport that offers our students short and near-term rentals of one or two bedroom apartments for the duration of their stay here. California Flight Academy can supply transportation to and from classes and there are long and short term rental cars available at the airport. We will be happy to discuss your needs in greater detail; just give us a call!

Aircraft Rental

California Flight Academy does not rent aircraft as a separate business, but do provide rentals to our students and former students as an added benefit to training with us. For example, a student who already holds a private pilot certificate and is currently training for a commercial license might want to get away for a few hours on their day off, or a former student may wish to practice night landings for a few hours before taking a long trip.

Of course, since our flight training operations are our first priority, advance scheduling of our aircraft is critical. If you are a current or former student and wish to rent one of our training aircraft, please call for scheduling and availability.

LaserGrade Testing

LaserGrade Computer Testing, Inc. is an international computer-based testing company with 700+ secure and supervised test centers worldwide. California Flight Academy is proud to be one of them. We can administer all required FAA knowledge tests in our own facility. We can also accommodate students from other flight schools or independent instructors who need to take one or more required exams.

LaserGrade is not limited to FAA testing, however. California Flight Academy can administer computer testing for any of the certification programs using Lasergrade, including Microsoft Certification, FCC certification exams, Department of Labor exams and much, much more.
